Farewell…

I knew you since …ever… and I’ve always knew you like a funny guy (although your jokes were sometimes tough, like you)… My childhood was influenced by you and your jokes and your ideas and your way of seeing things. I’ve assumed some of your jokes, ideas, behavior… and people (your wife and your son, my mother and some of those who knows us both) were saying that I was going to be like you – especially when they were talking about how stubborn we are, how we tend to fight for our ideas even when we’re wrong, how we know to cut and burn people with words and sentences. Sometimes I’ve also thought that I will be like you when I will be your age.

Some weeks ago I’ve shed a tear ’cause all that was coming back to me were pictures of good times we’ve had together, how we were trying to lose some weight together and the plans that we made and we haven’t seen fulfilled. Yesterday I thought about you again and realized that I still can’t realize…

Farewell, my friend.
